- Tenders are invited for Supply and Installation of 200kva Silent Diesel Generator Supply, installation and commission of 200kva generator as follows: - 3phase silent diesel generator enclosed type Complete with generator plinth and generator cage Installation to include all necessary cabling and accessories Base Frame: Heavy Duty Fabricated Steel Circuit Breaker Type: 3 Pole MCB Frequency - 60Hz Alternator Cooling method - water Include all cabling Warranty period of minimum 24 months / 1 000hrs Validity of Bids A Bid Validity of 60 days Must be stated. Failure to state Bid Validity will lead to automatic disqualification. GMB may seek extension of bid validity before the expiring of the 60-day period to allow finalization of the tender process .Bid Security/ Bid Bond The Bidder must include either: The Tender must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Bid Security of ZWL$50 000.00 for Local Bidders whilst International/Foreign Bidders shall pay USD600.00 (auction rate of 83.372 used) valid for a period of 60 days after tender closing date (bidding period) plus an additional 28 days, in line with Section 26 of the Procurement Regulations (S.I.5 of 2018). Bidders are free to choose the form of Bid Security that they would want to submit from any one of the following options below: - Option 1 ---------- A Bank Guarantee of ZWL$50 000.00 in the name of GMB. Option 2 --------- A Cash Deposit to the Authority (PRAZ) of ZWL$50 000.00 for Local Bidders whilst Foreign/International bidders shall pay USD600.00 (Please submit your banking details to PRAZ and also inset them in your bid document). If Option 2 is chosen bidders must pay ZWL$50 000.00 for Local Bidders whilst International/Foreign Bidders shall pay USD600.00 for the Bid Security that shall be Refundable at the end of the Bidding period plus another ZWL$8 000.00 for Local Bidders whilst International/Foreign Bidders shall pay USD100.00 which shall be non-refundable for cash bid bond establishment fee in line with Part 1V of the Procurement Regulations (S.I.5 of 2018).
