  • Tenders are invited to carry out a Baseline Study for the Joint UNICEF and UN WOMEN Program on Prevention of Gender Based Violence against Adolescent Girls and Young Women.Scope of work: The main objective of the consultancy is to gather data and information from the three initial target districts which will be used to improve program design and to monitor progress and benchmarks of 6 the Joint Program. The consultant is expected to conduct two major undertakings which are: 1) developing implementing and finalising a baseline study and 2) updating the program results frameworks. 3.1 Baseline study for the Joint Program on GBV The baseline study will be conducted in three districts (Makoni Bindura and Beitbridge). The specific purpose of the baseline study is to: Determine baseline data for target setting as per the indicators set out in the monitoring and evaluation framework of the Joint Program on GBV and district level antiGBV results frameworks Collect baseline data and provide a first measurement for the established programme indicators. Baseline values should be established for the relevant program indicators on the basis of the data collected. This includes among other issues a mapping of GBV and Child Protection services available at district and ward level and a study of knowledge attitudes and practices (KAP) on gender based violence related legislation and available services and support among community members adolescent girls and young women (1024) religious and traditional leaders university students government officials and service providers Validate if the activities within the programme design are sufficient in scale and scope in order to achieve the expected results Based on evidence gathered recommend any adjustments of program strategies for achieving the expected results under the three key programmatic areasprogram outcomes
