Description:
Tenders are invited for Consultant to Provide Technical Support to Review the National Implementation Plan under the National Programme of Action in the Ministry of Health and Child Care. The consultant will be expected to: ? Review the current Plan, identify gaps in line with current developments on child rights, sustainable development goals and different national frameworks focused on advancing the rights of the child in Zimbabwe. ? Review the current child rights situation in Zimbabwe versus the Concluding Observations and Recommendations from Child Rights Treaty Bodies and Sustainable Development Goals in relation to child rights. ? Engage continuously with government departments and members of the Child Rights Coalition during the drafting process of the National Implementation Plan of Action, including engaging with Child Led Groups to acquire input from children. ? Consolidation of views from the government and child rights coalition; revise and finalise the National Implementation Plan of Action. ? Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework of the National Implementation Plan of Action ? Lead validation workshops with Government and the Child Rights Coalition.
