Description:
Expression of Interest (EOI) are invited for Consulting Firms; An Equivalence Assessment of National Waters Laws Among Riparian States in the Zambezi River Basin Management Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services(?the Services") include the following: (a) Reviewing andconfirming the accuracy of the database of compiled and collated water related legislation from all eight Riparian States; (b) Assessing thedegree of equivalence among the Riparian States for key provisions of the nationallegislation; (c) Reviewingequivalence withthe provisions of the ZAMCOM Agreement and identifying the existence and implications of any inconsistencies; (d) Reviewingequivalence withthe provisions of regional and international protocols, agreements and others and identifying the existence andimplications of any inconsistencies; and, (e) Recommending bestpractice provisions and guidelines for ZAMCOM to facilitate the process of harmonizing national polices and laws towards basin widecooperation. Expressions of interestmust be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by postor by email) by Friday, 14th August, 2015.
