Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Distribution of Solar Equipment Objective of the call Considering the high potential of solar home systems (SHS) and the opportunities identified in the Rural Energy Master Plan (REMP), the EOI intends to identify companies in the SHS business interested in operating in the rural areas as identified in the Rural Energy Master Plan. This call will give a first impression on the potential and interest of the private sector companies to act as distributors for REF that will in turn retail the stand-alone LED solar powered multi-lighting lights bulb systems and solar powered household appliances such as TVs, fridges and productive use appliances like oil expressors, peanut butter making machine, welding machines and carpentry equipment to rural customers. Only those who fail to get a response through email may call the Procurement Administrator on 0772409691. Submission of documents Interested respondents that meet the above-mentioned criteria may submit their EOI documents directly to REF on the address provided below by the closing date and time. Each respondent must submit a set of three(3) similar documents. The deadline for receiving applications for this expression of interest is 22 July 2021,Time 1000hrs. Any responses must be clearly labeled “Expression of Interest-Solar Home systems' and addressed to the Procurement Administrator.
