The Government of Zimbabwe has received a grant from The African Development Fund to finance the Support for Arrears Clearance and Governance Enhancement Project (SACAGE). The Support for Arrears Clearance and Governance Enhancement Project is designed to assist in the implementation of public finance management and governance reforms, key to macroeconomic stabilisation and fiscal stabilisation. The focus is on arrears clearance and debt resolution which are critical to unlocking financial support from development partners. Linked to arrears clearance, are reforms to address leakages and abuses of public resources which constrain economic recovery efforts and perpetuate poverty.
