• Expression of Interest are invited for Financial Audit Consultancy Services. Request for expression of interest (REOI) For Financial Audit Consultancy services The Auditor General Alaska-Karoi (132kV) Power Transmission Rehabilitation Project (AKTP) Financial Audit Grant Number: 5900155011351 1. This request for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) No. No AFDB61-01/2017 and on the African Development Bank-s Internet Website (www.afdb.org). 2. The Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe has received a Grant financing from the African Development Fund under the Transition Support Facility (TSF) towards the cost of the Alaska-Karoi (132kV) Power Transmission Rehabilitation Project (AKTP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant financing to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Financial Audit. 3. The Services include (i) Verifying Compliance with project financial management agreements and requirements. (ii) Verifying all funds including counterpart funds and other external funds have been used in accordance with the conditions of the financing agreements. (iii) Verify that financial statements have been prepared by the project management in accordance with applicable financial reporting framework. (iv) Verify that the special account has been maintained in accordance with the provisions of the loan agreement and in accordance with the Bank-s disbursement rules and procedures. 4. The office of the Auditor General, herein referred to as the Client being an authorized agent of the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe now invites eligible Consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the above services 5. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments in similar conditions and Availability of the appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. 6. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short -list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank-s ‘Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations- -August, 2015, which is available in the Bank-s website at http://www.afdb.org. Borrowers are under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest. 7.
