- Tenders are invited for Freight Containers Insectary Lab. The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) invites bids for thePrefabrication or Conversion of Freight Containers into an Insectary Lab Construction of an insectary using containers. Details and specifications shall be made available at a site visit. Contractors will be required to supply labor and other materials/accessories for the fabrication works. CIMMYT shall make available two containers for this job. A site visit shall be held on 12th February. 2020 from 10am to 12 noon and a sketch plan of the works shall be obtained during the site visit. Bids must be delivered to the address below by 17th February, 2020. CIMMYT reserves the right to acceptor reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time priorto contract award, without thereby incurring anyliability to the affected bidder or bidders. Bidders should be legally registered to do construction works in Zimbabwe and should have valid legal documents to do business in Zimbabwe.
