- Tenders are invited for Induced Draught Fan Motor Rechroming and Reconditioning at Munyati Power Station Scope of Work 1. Recondition Stator, Recondition Rotor Bar and Laminations And Electric Motor Overhaul 1.1 Repair Damaged Stator Laminations and Windings 1.2 Repair Damaged Insulation to Class F (Iec 60034) 1.3 Repair Damaged Rotor Bars and Lamina Hons 1.4 Rechroming of the Drive End and Non-Drivi End Journals to Fit the Bearing as Per Specification in Sfxtion 4, i.e. Rechroming to a Maximum of (5"+ 0.003") and a Minimum of (5"+0.002"). 1.5 Static and Dynamic Balancing of Motor Rotor 1.6 Repainting of the Motor after Boxing up (Electrical Light Grey). 1.7 Extensive Tests Detailed in Section 2 below 2. Factory Tests (These are to be Done in the Presence of Zpc Engineers) 2.1 Polarisation Index Tests 2.2 Insulation resistance test 2.3 Winding resistance test 2.4 Vibration tests 2.5 Speed tests 2.6 Magnetic balance 2.7 Thermographic inspection 2.8 Load tests (0%, 25%. 50%. 75% and T00°oT Pre-bid meeting A pre-bid meeting will be held at Harare Power Station in Zimbabwe on the 21“ of October 2021 at 10:00 hrs. Validity of Bids The minimum period for which the Bidder's bid must remain valid is sixty (60) days from the deadline for the submission of bids.
