Tenders are invited for Pole Replacement and Way Leave Clearance Pole Replacement (I)Intermediate (Ii)H Pole Strain (Iii)Swing Angle (Iv)Vertical Strain (v)Single Pole Strain Way Leave Clearance (I) Dense Bush (Ii) Medium Dense Bush (Iii) Light Dense Bush (Iv) Price Per Tree outside Wayleave with Potential to Interfere with Power Line Interested bidders shall convene at MEGWATT HOUSE - MUTARE for a site visit on Friday 8 October at 8:00 am to 11:00am. NB. ZETDC DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORT TO SITE. Bidders shall arrange their own transport to & from site. Site visit itinerary: Starts at Orange Groove, Vumba Substation ending at Burma Valley Substation. Scope of work: POLE REPLACEMENT: - Replacement of all rotten (marked) pole structures, all materials to be provided by ZETDC and to be collected at Mutare Environs stores. The cost of transportation of materials and labour to and from site shall be at the Contractor-s expense. Hole dimension: - Diameter 1.5m, Depth- 2m Wood pole length :- 12.5m Pole replacement to include all tasks necessary to replace the rotten pole(s) i.e. hole digging, pole dressing, pole erection, conductor restringing and recovering accessories from old pole structures and returning to ZETDC Mutare Environs depot (excluding the rotten pole itself). Documents Required (Together with the Quotations): 1. Copy of Current Tax Clearance Certificate ITF263 2. Proof of Registration with PRAZ in the relevant category or a proof of registration in the form of the Government Gazette or Certified letter from PRAZ accompanied with a certified receipt from PRAZ.( In the relevant category) Terms: 1. State payment terms. 2. Bid Validity of 30 days is required and must be clearly stated. 3. State delivery period (time to complete the power line maintenance exercise as per total scope above maximum period 60 days) .
