TERMS OF REFERENCE (ToR) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER 1. INTRODUCTION TIMB is seeking the services of a qualified consultancy firm to facilitate the recruitment and selection of a highly competent Chief Finance Officer. The consultant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring transparency, professionalism, and adherence to best hiring practices. Recruitment will be done in consultation with TIMB Management team. 2. OBJECTIVES The objectives of this consultancy are: To attract and select a qualified Chief Finance Officer with the necessary skills and experience. To ensure a fair, transparent, and merit-based recruitment process. To align the recruitment process with the organization's strategic and operational needs. To provide expert recommendations on the selection of the best candidate. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The consultant will be responsible for: Conducting a job description review in line with best practice for the role deliverables. Developing a vacancy advertisement. Managing the advertising process through appropriate channels. Shortlisting candidates based on predefined criteria. Conducting preliminary interviews and Conducting psychometric tests.
