African Development Bank Group ZIMBABWE COUNTRY OFFICE (COZW) HARARE - ZIMBABWE Tel: + +263 782 544-6, 732 458 568-9, 716 801 430-1 Email: tenders_rdgs@afdb.org REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES: ADB/RFP/COZM/2020/0246 The African Development Bank (hereafter referred to as “The Bank”) wishes to invite technical and financial proposals from experienced companies for the provision of security services. 1. The Request for Proposal is available for downloading from this link. Alternatively, the document may be obtained by sending a request to tenders_rdgs@afdb.org 2. Bidders must originate from one of the Bank-s member countries, list of which is provided at www.afdb.org 3. Evaluation will be conducted based on quality and price according to the criteria published in the Invitation to Bid as outlined below:- 4. Pass /Fail evaluation criteria • Bidders must originate from one of the Bank-s member countries. • Provide Audited Financial Statements for past three years (2017, 2018 and 2019 or latest). Minimum annual average turnover of USD80,000 or ZWL equivalent. • The bidder shall have a minimum of 3 years- experience and shall have successfully or substantially implemented as a prime contractor at least three assignments of a similar nature and complexity 5. Technical evaluation criteria • Bidder- s Technical response to the RFP. 6. The Bank shall organize a site visit to be held on 17 November 2020, at 10h00 hours to 12h00 Local Times at the Bank-s premises address indicated below. The site visit will follow the Covid-19 heath guidelines put in place by the Government of Zimbabwe and WHO. 7. The virtual (zoom) pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday 18 November 2020, at 09h00 hours Local Time, Bidders are requested submit their request through the email Tenders_RDGS@AFDB.ORG to be sent the zoom link a before 18 November 2020. 8. Questions for the site visit and pre-bid meeting shall be communicated to tenders_rdgs@afdb.org by 23 November 2020. The site visit and pre-bid conference are mandatory, therefore, failure to attend the site visit and pre-bid meeting will lead to disqualification and bid documents will be returned. 9. The Proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes delivered at the address below by 04 December 2020, 17.00 hours.
