  • Expression of Interest (EOI) for Provision of Service to the Zimbabwe Building Resilience Fund (ZRBF) Project. Brief background of the project UNDP in Zimbabwe is an impartial and trusted development partner that contributes within its overall mandate and in full use of its comparative advantages to national priorities and to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UNDP is currently setting up a pooled fund for Resilience Building in Zimbabwe. The overall objective of the programme is to contribute to increased capacities of communities to protect development gains and achieve improved well-being outcomes in the face of shocks and stresses enabling them to contribute to the economic growth of Zimbabwe. This will be achieved through the following: (a) Creating a body of evidence for increased application of evidence in policy making and application for resilience; (b) Setting up a multi donor trust for Resilience Building in Zimbabwe to allow for partners to come together around the Resilience Framework and principles to improve the absorptive, adaptive and transformative capacities of at-risk communities; and (c) Set up a risk financing mechanism which will provide appropriate, predictable, coordinated and timely response to risk and shocks from a resilience perspective. In order to achieve the above objectives, UNDP Zimbabwe intends to establish a robust roster of Civil Society organization, International and National Non-Governmental organizations, Faith based organizations, Academia, Think Tanks, and Private Sector from which secondary competition can be obtained through Request for Proposals (RFP) for the award of contracts to individual organizations, collaborative partnerships or consortia to provide support the ZRBF Project. B. Requirement capacity areas UNDP Zimbabwe seeks to establish a roster of organizations based on, but not limited to, the below capacity areas: 1. Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) 2. Community based financial inclusion and insurance services; 3. Community based planning, implantation, monitoring and evaluation 4. Strengthening Social capital and community networks 5. Cash transfer 6. Capacity Building for local government and community based organizations 7. Community based Natural Resource Management; 8. Agricultural Livelihoods ( all subcategories) 9. Markets linkages and value addition 10. Small scale productive infrastructure; 11. Vocational Training skills 12. Gender and equality; 13. Health 14. WASH 15. Education 16. Nutrition
