- Expression of Interest are invited for Repair and Maintain Existing and Construction of New Bus Shelters along the Public Transport Routes in the City of Bulawayo. The City of Bulawayo is inviting competent and reputable companies or organizations with required resources to express interest to repair and maintain existing and/or construct new bus shelters along the public transport routes in the City of Bulawayo. In return the companies or organisation will have the right to advertise its products, services or sell advertising space. The basic purpose of bus stop shelters is to protect travelling passengers from weather elements such as rain and wind. The work to be done involves the following:- Selection of a route from the Central Business District to its final destination or part of a route or specific bus shelters - it will be important to specify the portion of the route selected or particular bus stops selected in the event that the bidder is not selecting the full route. Examine all bus shelters selected and produce a plan to repair and/or construct new bus shelters, maintain and advertising on them. Repair the lay bys and clearly mark them. Produce a business plan with cash flows Bulawayo City Council now invites proficient, companies or organization to indicate their interest in the repairing of existing, constructing new, maintaining and advertising on bus shelters. Interested companies or organization must provide information indicating their qualification to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, proof of finance, availability of appropriate skills, and composition of the team). All interested should deposit their proposals in envelopes clearly marked: “Request for expression of interest to repair and maintain existing and construction of new bus shelters along the public transport routes in the City of Bulawayo” The bids must be deposited in the Bid Box of the Municipality, which is in the Town Clerk-s Department, City Hall, Between Fife Street & L. Takawira Avenue, P.O. Box 591, Bulawayo on or before 10:00hrs on the closing date (Tuesday, 26 October 2021). Closing date: 10:00 hrs on Tuesday, 26th of October 2021
