- Request for Proposals for the Refurbishment of the Model Health Centre and Supply of Furniture Harare Central Prison UNDP Zimbabwe on behalf of United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) is inviting companies with relevant experience to undertake the work below:Scope of Work for the Refurbishment of the Model Health Centre and Supply of Furniture Harare Central Prison1. Description of Services:The Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service and UNODC has a requirement to finish off the refurbishments at Harare Central Prison for an OI ART Clinic and Laboratory. The work shall be done as per scope of work, specifications and general contract conditions. This project requires an experienced registered contractor to execute the job. The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and other related items requiredto complete the project as per scope of work and specifications. Contractors are advised to visit the site, verify the existing site conditions to develop their proposal. 2. Summary of the Major TasksFinishing off work on plumbing, electricals, floor screed, painting, ceiling and windows.This is a firm fixed price turnkey job for the entire work and amount quotedshallinclude all work. Contractor's staff is subject to such restriction for entry and exit as are required by the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service. Contractor's staff will be subject to security clearance as required by the ZPCS Commissioner General's Standing Orders. Contractor shall restore all surfaces disturbed by construction to match with existing finish.Any deviation from the original contract/scope of work shall be informed to PCU before work begins. No additional work or changes will be carried out without a contract modification. ii. Responsibilities of Contractor Contractor shall be responsible for procuring, supplying, transporting, and providing all labour, materials, tools and plant and equipment etc, requiredfor completion of the work in all respects and as per the scope of the work.
