- Tenders are invited for Services of a Consultant to the End of Term Evaluation Supporting the Recovery of Flooding and Cyclone Idai Victims in Mancalano. Zimbabwe Project. Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances child re n`s rights and equality for girls. We work together with children, young people, our supporters and partners to tackle the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. The purpose for this evaluation is to assess the performance of the project and capture project achievements, challenges and promising practices to inform future similar programmes. The evaluation will ensure accountability towards Plan International Germany National Office as a funder of the project and the beneficiaries of the program. On the other hand, it offers a learning aspect for all stakeholders. The evaluation will also identify key lessons learned, challe nges and the flexibility of the programme to adapt and respond to the changes and sustainability of recovery projects. It shall also assess the extent to which the project has addressed gender relations and promoted gender equality and give recommendations for future programmes towards gender transformative programming. The overall goal of the project is to "Support the Early Recovery of Communities and Schools Affected by Cyclone ldai in Chimanimani and Chipinge Districts. Plan International Zimbabwe invites bids for the services of a consultant to the End of Term Evaluation. Specifically, the objectives for the consultant are to: • Carry out the implementation of the End of Term Evaluation as per the schedule. • To conducta systematic analysisto identify progress against bench marks. • Ensure high qualitydata collection, entry, analysisand interpretation. • Submit raw and cleaned data to Plan International Zimbabwe and take corrective actions, where relevant. • Submit a detailed report and an abridged version of the report highlighting key issues from the report.
