- Tenders are Invited for Supply of 10 X 1.2mw Diesel Generators and Delivery to Durban Port. Tender Description: Tender for the supply of 10 X 1.2MW Diesel Generators and delivery to Durban Port Tender number: AS/001/18/HQ/G/124 Closing date and time: Mon, 2015-12-14 at 15:00 Meeting date: Mon, 2015-12-14 (NB: Check with contact person for correct meeting time as none was specified) TENDER NO: AS/001/18/HQ/G/124 FOR THE SUPPLY OF 10 X 1.2MW DIESEL GENERATOR SETS AND DELIVERY TO DURBAN PORT 1. We have been duly contracted by a National Government (GOV) to invite bids for the supply of 10 x 1.2MW Diesel Generator Sets. The GOV has received a loan from a multilateral financial institution (MFI) in an amount equivalent to USD10 million toward the cost of a power generation project and the GOV intends to apply the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under this contract. Payment by the MFI will be made only at the request of the GOV directly to the selected bidder. 2. Gilbert O-Neil Mushure (The Firm) now invites sealed bids from capable bidders for the supply and delivery of the generators to Durban Port. 3. Description of the Generators General : New 1.2MW Diesel Generator Sets Quantity : 10 units Rated power : 1200kw/1500KVA PRIME Frequency : 50HZ/60HZ Further technical specifications are detailed in the Tender Documents. 4. This procurement opportunity is open to all capable firms from all countries. Bidders will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted. Tender and qualification information are to be submitted in the English Language on the prescribed forms inserted in the Tender Documents. 5. Tender Documents may be obtained from the contact in Paragraph 6 for a non-refundable Tender Fee of twenty thousand United States dollars (USD20,000). Requests for Tender Documents accompanied by a scanned bank telegraphic transfer slip of Tender Fee payment must be submitted by written email to the contact in Paragraph 6. Opening of returned Tender Documents will take place immediately after the deadline for submission, in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend as well as via a live video feed. 9. All returned Tender Documents must be accompanied by a tender securing declaration as per sample form provided in the Tender Documents. 10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, and bids not received, bids not opened and not read out at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
