Description:
Tenders are invited for Supply of Goat Holding Centre Building Materials and Labour-Value Chain Alliance for Livestock Upgrading and Empowerment (VALUE) Action. The Value Chain Alliance for Livestock Upgrading and Empowerment (VALUE) consortium, with funding from the delegation of the European Union in Zimbabwe, is working towards establishing marketing infrastructure for goats at Matopos Research Institute as part of upgrading the Goat Meat Value Chain in the Matabeleland Region. The VALUE action is managed by Action Aid and its partners, Mercy Corps, COSV, Shamiso Farms, Zvikomborero Farms, Braford Farming and Michview Enterprises. The action is working directly with 1,000 pig and 10,000 goat producers and is a four (4) year Pork and Goat Meat enterprise commercialization project. The action is following a holistic approach in upgrading the Goat Meat Value Chain and this entails the establishment of marketing infrastructure as part of the Market Systems Development Processes for the Action. Registered and reputable companies/firms as well as experienced individuals are invited to provide quotations for all or any one of the following Lots; Lot I-Supply and Fix basis Lot 2-Supply of construction materials only Lot 3-Provision of labour only. Closing Date: 8th November 2019 at 1700 Hours.
