Description:
Tenders are invited for Supply of Nutrient Film Techniques (NFT) and Dutch Buckets Hydroponic Systems. • Hundred (100) Nutrient Film Techniques (NFT) gravity model with a plant population of 108 (50 in Mosvingo and 50 in Norton) • Hundred (ICOJ Dutch Bucket gravity model system with each having a carrying capacity of 12 buckets • Setting up 100 Hydroponic Sheds measuring 2.5m*2.5m*1.5m using wooden poles and greenhouse nets. • The NFT and Dutch bucket system should have a 50litre distributing tank at each site that will be used to mix the nutrient solution and should be placed on an elevated stand to allow tor gravity. The systems should also have a receiving basin at the end ot the system. • Root anchoring systems should be wood shavings for Dutch bucket system and cockpit lor NFT solution • Supply ot nutrient solutions • Supply ot 100 PH lest meters and 100 EC lest kits. • Provision of training and training modules to a total of 100 households on basic maintenance and setup of hydroponic systems.
