- Description:
- Transportation of Molasses Tenders are invited from bona fide road transport operators for the service of the transportation of molasses of approximately 35 000 tons annually from Hippo Valley Mill to Triangle Limited Mill. Qualifying trucks shall be coupled to 30 to 36 ton trailers capable of transporting molasses. A Truck Trailer GVM with payload of 56 000kg is required. Trailers required are bulk road tankers, with at least 6-inch sized offloading valves with the discharge on the side of the trailer. Truck/Trailer combinations excluding payload should range between an estimated 20 000kg & 26 000kg (26 000kg should not be exceeded). Proposed trucks must be capable of delivering reliable, safe and operational cost efficiencies in the system. Physical proof of ownership and existence of the trucks is a pre-requisite. Vehicle tracking is a mandatory requirement for all vehicles proposed. Fee: US$250.
