- Expression of Interest are invited for ZETDC Network Master Plan Study Consultancy Services. The Government of The Republic of Zimbabwe has received Grant from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to eligible payments under the contract for ZETDC Network Master Plan Study Consultancy Services. The consultant will update Zimbabwe’s energy balance and update the demand forecast at geographical level, based sectoral development. ZETDC has produced a Draft System Development Plan, which will be reviewed by the consultant, taking into consideration the revised forecast and available generation sources. The output is a least cost network expansion Plan to be implemented in Zimbabwe in the next 20 years and their financial implications for executing the plan. The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution (ZETDC), now invites Consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide a statement of capability and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the services Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments in the past five years, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s ‘Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations (BPM)’, dated October 2015 which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
